Emotional Release

In Tibetan, authentic presence is wangthang, which literally means, ‘field of power’… The cause or the virtue that brings about authentic presence is emptying out and letting go.

You have to be without clinging ~ Chogyam Trungpa

Your emotions play a crucial role in your body’s balance. They communicate messages to you, indicating whether your needs are being met or not. Every emotion has a frequency and is transmitted through the body as a chemical message. This movement signals for a physiological response. Warm, loving emotions strengthen the body and support the harmonious flow of information. A physical symptom of pain or discomfort are signals from the subconscious mind in an attempt to communicate with you. Letting go of stored harmful emotions and memories takes courage and a willingness to change.

A psychological conflict or shock is stored in the body as a repressed negative emotion. There are many ways to repress a painful emotion. We dismiss it, get busy, exercise or drink more or pretend it never happened. A suppressed emotion is buried so as not to be felt or acknowledged. It may seem not to exist.

All trauma and addictions can be traced to trauma and emotional loss in childhood. It takes a lot of energy to keep these painful emotions buried. Your happiness may be compromised by excessive behaviours, compulsions and addictions. These are harmful and common methods used to avoid the pain of disconnect. Symptoms of repressed emotions may include fatigue, depression, avoidance of personal matters, altered mental states and problems around personal relationships.

Emotional trauma compromises health by disrupting the harmony of your mind and body connection. The manifestation could include a compromised immune system, dysfunction in your digestive system and disease in the body. These energy techniques are performed in a gentle way that allow you to connect with your subconscious mind, receive the learnings and let go of that old unhelpful emotion or belief. Make a commitment to your emotional and mental health and begin your journey today.

“You isolate yourself, and do not share your emotions with others. You are upset and do not share with others–you’re obsessed about the conflict. This conflict changes your life completely–you will never be the same.”

This is the beginning of a significant emotional event, every thought has an influence on every cell of your body, every emotion is a cocktail of chemicals that floods the neurological pathways.
